At the BIC of Wyoming, our Traumatic and Acquired Brain Injury Program centers on the unique changes that occur when a person sustains a brain injury.
Our treatment plan is tailored for each person’s individual needs. This is accomplished by a treatment team consisting of the participant, family members, funders, our staff and outside professionals.
BIC’s Team Approach includes ongoing evaluations — necessary to establish baselines and to monitor progress. A trained staff with the aid of technology provides a treatment program tailored to each participant’s unique set of needs — but the goal is always the same — to give individuals who have experienced a severe brain injury the highest level of independence possible. Family involvement is highly encouraged so that realistic expectations of the family, participant and service providers can aid in the success of the participant.
